Welcome To The 2024-2025 School Year!
The School Where EVERY Child Succeeds!
Tuition can be covered by the following vouchers: Cleveland Scholarship, ED Choice, and ED Choice Expansion Scholarships!
Admissions Policy
St. Aloysius Catholic School will accept students of any race, color, ethnic origin or religion whether parishioners or non-parishioners. Students are admitted as room permits from the Waiting List after a review of the student’s records is completed. ALL new students are placed on a one year probationary contract for behavior and grades. Continued enrollment will be based on the students performance during their first year at our school.
Admission and re-admission is done on an annual basis after a review. St. Aloysius Catholic School is not equipped to handle some needs of children with disabilities be they physical or special programs such as LD, IEP, etc. The feasibility of accepting any child with a disability will be dependent upon the school’s ability to meet the child’s educational and physical needs.
It is our expectation that parents wishing to register their children in our school will make us aware of any special needs their child has so we can inform them about whether we can reasonably accommodate those needs in our existing programs.
Registration
Re-registration takes place each year from January- May (re-enrollment for current students and for new students) and July (new students/families). Call the Main Office for details!
- Serious discipline problems must be resolved before re-admission into a new school year (Principal’s discretion).
- Summer school, tutoring, or counseling may be required and a condition of re-admission. (Probation Registration).
- Full payment of all past tuition, registration fees, and fundraising (Candy Sale). Outstanding balances prohibit re-enrollment (see Handbook for details).
- Lack of parental support is cause for denying re-registration as evidenced through differing philosophy and/or values.
- St. Aloysius Catholic School admits students of any race, color or ethnic origin.
When applying for admission for the first time, parents need to call to put their child’s name on the Waiting List. After re-registration of students currently enrolled, if space permits, we call from the Waiting List. Parents must provide us with a copy of the most current report card at the time they list their child. Decisions for admission and re-admission are based on the child’s academic, behavior and attendance record as well as parental support. If your family is called to register, you will need to provide the following:
- birth certificate
- immunization record
- transfer, report card and records from previous school
- baptismal certificate (if appropriate)
- and registration fee
We will also need family background information as well as application paperwork if applying for CSTP or Ed Choice scholarship. Also needed are current doctor and dentist phone numbers and an emergency phone number in case we cannot reach the parent in an emergency.
